Did Adam Driver drop some major clues about ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi?’

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- There’s a disturbance in the Force as Adam Driver divulged a couple of potentially huge spoilers in the upcoming “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

If you want to go into the theater fresh come December, we suggest turning away now.

OK, where were we? In an interview with GQ, Driver hints at his character, Kylo Ren, turning from the dark to the light side of the Force.

“The person Kylo’s pretending to be on the outside is not who he is,” Driver says. “He’s a vulnerable kid who doesn’t know where to put his energy, but when he puts his mask on, suddenly, he’s playing a role.”

The “Star Wars” saga has always been about redemption, so it wouldn’t be all that surprising if Kylo Ren, who seemed conflicted about killing his father, Han Solo, in the previous episode, turns his back on the evil Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

The second potential spoiler Driver eluded to, however, could have larger implications.

“You have, also, the hidden identity of this princess who’s hiding who she really is so she can survive and Kylo Ren and her hiding behind these artifices,” Driver says of the trilogy’s hero, Rey, played by Daisy Ridley.

So, Rey’s a princess?

Does that mean she is the daughter of Princess Leia and Han Solo and Kylo Ren’s sister? It would make sense since A. there isn’t another royal family we’ve gotten to know in the previous seven “Star Wars” films thus far, and B. she instantly formed deep bonds with both of Leia and Han Solo in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

While it seems less likely, there’s also the distinct possibility that Driver is just pulling all of our chains.

We’ll find out when “Star Wars” The Last Jedi” lands in theaters Dec. 15.
