Oklahoma State landed its third football commitment for 2019 on Monday — and its second from the Tulsa area.

Demarco Jones, a cornerback at Booker T. Washington, announced via Twitter he was verbally committing to OSU.

A 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect, Jones received a scholarship offer from OSU on Friday.

“Although it’s early for me, I am positive that this is the best choice for not only me but my family,” Jones wrote in his note on Twitter.

Oklahoma State has maintained a steady pipeline from Booker T. Washington in recent years, including two key contributors to the 2017 team: Running back Justice Hill and defensive end Jordan Brailford.

Oklahoma State also has an offer out to five-star Booker T. Washington safety Dax Hill, the younger brother of Justice.

Jones, a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com, gives OSU three verbal commitments for 2019. The others: Tight end Grayson Boomer of Collinsville and punter Tom Hutton of Australia.
