NORFOLK — Services for Sharon K. Lenox, 78, Norfolk, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. The Rev. Frank Brink will officiate. Burial will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hadar.
Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
Sharon passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at her home in Norfolk.
Sharon Kay was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Norfolk. She attended school in Norfolk and worked various guest service positions, including as an assistant manager at Dairy Queen.
Sharon liked spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading and belonged to book clubs. Sharon loved cats in particular and assisting stray animals. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Holly (Joe) Bares; her grandchildren, Zachary and Haille Bares and Chad Lenox (Sonya); her grandchildren, Lisa, Faith, Summer and Dade; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joy (Mike) Malena and Jeannie Moss; many nieces, and nephews; and Larry Lenox.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Moss, and her stepfather, Ronald Moss.
