Dick Grover, 79, of Sioux City, passed away unexpectedly at a local hospital on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018.

Dick was born on Oct. 14, 1939, in Fremont, Neb., to Roy and Marcella Grover. He was in the United States Marine Corps.
Dick was united in marriage to Trudy Banks on Jan. 27, 1979, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He worked construction and as a truck driver for many years before retiring in 2016. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Trudy Grover of Sioux City; four children, Dean, Annette and Scott Vance, and Brian Grover, all of Fremont; two stepchildren, Brandon Hudson of Sioux City, and Brenda Hudson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; adopted daughter, Jessica Martin of Estherville, Iowa; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Terry Grover.
