Lackawanna County Government Making Its Big Move
Movers were hard at work hauling boxes of files and other equipment into the former Globe store before the first Lackawanna County employees relocate there next week.
Occupancy permits were issued Friday for floors three and four of the building, which will house the county Department of Domestic Relations and Office of Youth and Family Services, respectively.
Now that the permits have been issued, those offices are expected to begin working in the building Monday.
An occupancy permit also was issued for part of the building’s first floor. Other departments will move in as construction concludes and additional permits are secured.
