The following preliminary hearings are scheduled before District Judge Susan Mankamyer in Boswell:
Driving under the influence
Nancy Salony, 59, Center Street, Boswell, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and a summary offense. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 9:56 p.m. Oct. 17 state police responded to a report of a woman lying on the road at Kircher Place in Boswell Borough. Police found a car with the engine running and headlights on, on a sidewalk. Salony was the driver. She had a blood alcohol content of 0.23 percent, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Nov. 7.
Robert Garver, 31, Scottsdale Drive, Moon Township, has been charged with marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia possession and three summary offenses. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 10:03 a.m. Sept. 24 state police stopped a vehicle driven by Garver at routes 30 and 281 in Quemahoning Township for making an illegal turn. Garver had a small amount of marijuana and a smoking device in the vehicle, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday.
