Norwalk woman arrested in connection with $12,000 unpaid bill
WESTPORT — A Norwalk woman was charged with second-degree larceny after allegedly letting a bill or more than $12,000 from Westport MediSpa go unpaid.
Sue Stebbing, 63, had a procedure worth more than $12,000 done at Westport MediSpa in December 2017 and told the business that she would be receiving money from a business transaction and would pay them later, according to a statement from Westport Police. The business attempted to receive payment from Stebbing for months, police said, but the bill went unpaid and an arrest warrant was issued.
Stebbing turned herself into police on Tuesday and was charged with second-degree larceny after posting a $20,000 bond. She is due in Norwalk Court on May 21.
