5th person charged in fatal shootings of woman, man
ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) — A fifth person has been charged in the fatal shootings of a man and woman whose bodies were found in an Anderson nature preserve and an abandoned Grant County farmhouse.
The Herald Bulletin reports 37-year-old David A. Roberts faces a charge of murder in connection with the death of 39-year-old Trinity Rose Parker of Anderson.
Thirty-eight-year-old Daniel Lee Jones Sr. is charged with two counts of murder and criminal confinemen t in the deaths of Parker and 35-year-old David L. Phillips II, also of Anderson. Parker’s body was found Aug. 14 in the Grant County farmhouse , a day after Phillips’ body was discovered in the nature preserve.
Thirty-year-old Jordan Zirkle of Anderson also faces two counts of murder. Two other Anderson residents also face charges in connection with the slayings.
