Donation Gets Library Near Goal

December 14, 2018

CHELMSFORD -- The Chelmsford Friends of the Library has donated $15,000 to support the Chelmsford Public Library’s new Impact Fund Campaign: On the Move with CPL.

The Make Your Impact Campaign kicked off Nov. 27 and seeks to raise $75,000. This year, the Library Trustees are raising money to fund a mobile pop-up library van that will visit schools, neighborhoods, playgrounds, senior housing, farmer’s markets and community events to better deliver library services across town.

Each year, the campaign will seek to add something new to enrich and improve the community’s library experience and ensure the both the Adams and MacKay branches have sufficient funding.
