Frontier Strings to perform Sunday at local church
The Frontier Strings, the premier string ensemble of the Omaha Conservatory, will make a special appearance and provide music Sunday, June 11, at the First United Methodist Church of Scottsbluff.
The string ensemble, directed by Ruth Wilson Meints, a Scottsbluff native and high school graduate, is comprised of advanced music students who perform a variety of music. Frontier Strings performs throughout Omaha during the school year and tours during the summer.
Wilson Meints is the director and founder of the Sprouts Violin program of Scottsbluff and Omaha. She is the daughter of Al and Judy Wilson of Scottsbluff.
