Bowling Hall of Fame welcomes Jerry Ann Nunley
EPHRAIM — Bowling is a fun, sociable sport, but for serious bowlers the bar is raised quite high. Jerry Ann Nunley, Ephraim, was selected from all the leagues in the Sanpete County area for the Bowling Hall of Fame at SnoCap Lanes on April 30.
It was no easy task to qualify, but she has enjoyed bowling and accomplished more in the past 25 years than most people do in a lifetime.
Among her competitive bowling achievements, she has earned membership in the 500 Club, for bowling a 500 series; she has also been president of the League twice, vice president, 500 club director, locally and state-wide; secretary for the Sunday League, and has held many leadership positions in different leagues over the years.
Nunley has competed in state and national tournaments in Moab; Cortez, CO; Salt Lake City; Reno, NV; and even won a silver medal in the senior games held in St. George.
