Local Radio Program Hosts Fan Appreciation Party
“The Beatledd Fab Four Hour” radio program, heard on WRKC-FM, Radio King’s College, recently hosted a fan appreciation cocktail party at the Trump International Hotel in New York City. The local Beatles’ radio program, hosted by Edd Raineri, is nearing its eighth year on the air at WRKC. Recent guests have included Randy Bachman, formerly of Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO) and The Guess Who; Don Dannemann, original member of the 60’s pop group, “The Cyrkle”; Mitch Weissman and Les Fradkin, the first musicians to play Paul McCartney and George Harrison on Broadway’s “Beatlemania” in 1977; and local musicians Eddie Appnel and Bret Alexander. The program has featured more than 200 special guests. The weekly program airs live at 7 p.m. Fridays on 88.5 FM and streams live online at wrkc.kings.edu.
