FORT TOWSON, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a 48-year-old woman has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man in southeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says the woman was arrested Tuesday on a first-degree murder warrant for the death of 48-year-old Jamie Williams of Fort Towson.

Court records do not show that the woman has been formally charged. The OSBI said the woman is jailed pending arraignment and a bond hearing.

The agency says the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office requested its assistance after Williams was found dead in his home Sunday in Fort Towson, about 160 miles (257 kilometers) southeast of Oklahoma City.

The OSBI said the state medical examiner’s office determined the cause of death was a stab wound.
