Quail Road: Quail is closed between Martin Street and Junction Drive during a reconstruction, widening and water and sewer mains installation project. Traffic that normally would travel that stretch of Quail is being detoured to the north via Junction Drive and Martin Street.


Wonderland Creek Greenways Project: Twenty Eighth Street, between Kalmia and Winding Trail/Palo Parkway, will have traffic lane shifts, including southbound and northbound right-turn closures. Ongoing through 2017.

Boulder County

Wagonwheel Gap Road: Flood-recovery repairs on the road and the Fourmile Canyon Creek channel will cause single-lane closures and short travel delays. Bow Mountain Drive is closed at Wagonwheel Gap Road while a new bridge is built.

James Canyon Drive: Major flood-recovery restoration work between Lefthand Canyon Drive and a point west of Colo. 87 is underway, with major construction and associated travel delays.

East County Line Road: Single-lane closures of East County Line Road at Colo. 52 will occur on an as-needed basis as crews work on the surface and guardrail of the bridge over Boulder Creek, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, as crews repair damages from the 2013 flood.

Hygiene Road: Motorists can expect delays on Hygiene Road from U.S. 36 and 75th Street on weekdays through December due to heavy hauling truck traffic that will be using the road during a St. Vrain Creek restoration project. Cyclists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Brainard Road: Brainard is closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8 a.m. to noon Fridays at Colo. 72 during a rehabilitation of the roadway to the Brainard Lake Recreation Area.


County Road 10: County Road 10 is closed between County Road 3 and County Road 5 for construction of utilities for the Colliers Hill development and the paving of County Road 10. Detour routes are Erie Parkway to the south or County Road 12 to the north. The closing is expected to last through April.

Eaton Street: Eaton is closed between Vista Parkway and Parkdale Circle North through Tuesday for removal and replacement of damaged asphalt. Construction will be from 7 a.m. to dusk each day. Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists are urged to heed traffic control signs and follow detours that will be in place during the work.
