County traffic safety panel to hear update on La Entrada Drive in Fort Mohave
KINGMAN — A county traffic safety committee will meet Thursday to hear an update on parking problems on a Fort Mohave street.
The traffic safety committee will get an update about the parking problems on La Entrada Drive in Fort Mohave where vehicles are encroaching onto the pavement.
Public works traffic control supervisor Gregg Whaley will give an update on the status of sign placement on La Entrada Drive. Development Services Director Steve Latoski visited the location on Jan. 11.
The traffic safety committee meets to discuss issues relating to safety on county roads. The committee is made up of representatives from the sheriff’s office, the county attorney’s office, risk management and public works.
The committee reviews requests for stop signs, speed limit signs and other signs to provide safe traffic in unincorporated areas in the county. The committee forwards recommendations to the county supervisors for approval.
The commission, which meets the second Thursday of each month, will meet at 9 a.m. in the Gold conference room at the public works building at 3715 Sunshine Drive in Kingman. The next meeting will be held April 12.
