Bridgeport hit with three armed robberies in two days
BRIDGEPORT — Two businesses and a delivery man were robbed Saturday and Sunday during a unusual spree that ran through two days, police said.
The first robbery occurred Saturday afternoon at a restaurant at the 1300 block of East Main Street. Police said two men held up the restaurant at gun point.
The next robbery occurred at a BP gas station on the 2700 block of North Avenue. Police said a woman robbed the station at gun point and made off with cash from the register.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, a delivery man was robbed by an armed person at 300 Remington Street, police said.
No one was injured during the robberies.
