Wells Fargo Presents Gift To F.M. Kirby Center

Wells Fargo Foundation has made a gift to the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts as part of its Wells Fargo Concert and Comedy Series commitment for 2018. The F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre is a nonprofit organization that relies on community support. Each year, the Kirby Center provides more than 80 cultural and educational shows for the community. The Wells Fargo gift will help to provide nearly 10,000 children each year with the opportunity to attend live theatrical performances through the Kirby Center’s Young Peoples Theater Series, free of charge. Additionally, support from organizations like Wells Fargo assist the Kirby Center in offering free Masterclasses during the 2018 season that will give children the opportunity to interact, perform and learn from national touring artists.
