Bonnie Gregg

Bonnie Gregg, 48, of St. Anne, passed away Saturday (April 13, 2019) at her home.

She was born April 14, 1970, in Kankakee, the daughter of Wesley and Barbara Lustig Jepson. Bonnie married Evan T. Gregg on April 24, 2004, at St. Teresa Church in Kankakee.

Bonnie was an academic advisor at Governors State University.

She was a graduate of Kankakee High School, Kankakee Community College and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Governors State University. She was a member of the National and Illinois Academic Advisors Associations. She was an avid Star Wars and Chicago White Sox fan. Bonnie enjoyed playing softball, reading and photography, and she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women.

Surviving are her husband, of St. Anne; parents, Wesley and Barbara Jepson, of St. Anne; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Debbie Gregg, of Wever, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Aaron Langlois, of Kankakee; sisters-in-law, Emy Gregg (Wendy) of Altoona, Iowa, and Elise Gregg, of Altoona, Iowa; two nieces, Carrie Palmer and Caelan Gregg; two nephews, David Palmer and Coy Gregg; and her dog, Tempe.

Preceding her in death were two sons, Thomas Dean Gregg and Joseph Ott Gregg; and one daughter, Stella Irene Gregg.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at St. John Paul II East Catholic Church (formerly known as St. Teresa) in Kankakee, with the Rev. Sonny Castillo officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Chicago Chapter of A.L.S. Association or Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
