Auburn seniors lend hand to Operation Enduring Gratitude

September 4, 2016 GMT

Operation Enduring Gratitude recently received a surprise $300 donation from the Men’s Club at The Commons on St. Anthony, who raised the money with a hot dog roast fundraiser.

The operation is seeking Cayuga County World War II and Korean War veterans to go on a trip to Washington, D.C. next spring.

The trip, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council No. 207, takes veterans by bus to the nation’s capital for a tour of the war memorials created in their honor.

To sign up for the trip, or to suggest a veteran, call Joe Lopiccolo at (315) 246-8493, Andy Cuddy at (315) 370-2404 or Dave Pappert at (315) 246-4258 or email david.pappert@gmail.com, jlopiccolo@roadrunner.com or acuddy@cuddylawfirm.com.
