Buffalo Wild Wings hosting ‘Community Day’ today
BULLHEAD CITY — The Bullhead City Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant is conducting “Community Day” today to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River.
And the BWW employees and their customers aren’t doing it alone.
“This event is now huge,” said David Canady, regional manager for Buffalo Wild Wings. “I am really proud of this community and its business owners that have volunteered products and services to help us raise money for the local Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River.”
Ten percent of the restaurant’s food sales today between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
“We take our commitment to the local community very seriously,” said Larry Tipton, Buffalo Wild Wings franchise owner. “Hosting this fundraiser is our way of helping fellow community members give back to the kids in our community.”
Helping BWW do that is how a number of businesses also are giving back. Canady said a number of vendors are giving time and services for the event. Those vendors joining forces with BWW include Rickety Cricket Brewery, Red Bull, Cody from Quality Time Entertainment, Mike the Magician, Face Painting by Brittany, Mile Markers, the Bullhead City Rotary Club, Findlay Chevrolet, Suzi Rentals, Patriot Security Services, Tie Tells Detailing, Cameron Broadcasting, and Class Act band.
Dinnertime activities will include a variety of events for youths, such as a bounce house, obstacle course, balloon artist and the opportunity to take a close look at a vintage fire truck. Live music and other events also are planned.
“The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River is very excited about this opportunity to partner with Buffalo Wild Wings,” said Autumn Boyle-Robinson, director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River. “Bringing families and the community together to enjoy a meal and entertainment while raising funds for programs which benefit local youth is a win-win.”
