PennDOT Lifts Some Restrictions, Commercial Vehicle Ban On Some NEPA Roads

HARRISBURG — The state Department of Transportation is lifting some vehicle restrictions, but restrictions on several roadways in the state’s northeast remain.

A full commercial vehicle ban, including buses, remains in effect on:

n I-380, full length from I-81 to I-80.

n I-81, from I-78 to the New York state line.

n I-84, full length from I-81 to New York state line.

n Pennsylvania Turnpike, Northeast Extension, from I-78 to Clarks Summit, Exit 131.

A 45-mph speed restriction is in place on various roadways with or without vehicle restrictions. For the most-current restrictions, visit www.511PA.com.
