Fort Bend County Sheriff, Crime Stoppers looking for alleged burglar in Katy area
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in locating an area burglar.
According to a news release, shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a business in the 5200 block of South Mason Road No. 100 in the Katy area. The suspect forcefully entered the business by breaking the front door window glass and he took the cash register. The suspect is believed to be involved with several other similar burglaries of businesses in the area.
“Someone out there knows this guy and we want them to give us a call on our Crime Stoppers Tips Line,” said Sheriff Troy E. Nehls. “This is the easiest kind of money to make. All you have to do is dial 281-342-TIPS (8477).”
The suspect was seen on surveillance and is described as a white or Hispanic male with glasses and a beard. He was wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and tennis shoes. The suspect’s car is a silver Honda Civic with factory custom wheels and a sun roof.
