Hempfield seeks public safety director
Hempfield is looking for a full-time public safety director to work with the township’s 12 fire departments, craft budgets for the public safety department, train employees and works with other area law enforcement agencies as needed.
The salary for the position has not yet been determined.
Applications due by 4 p.m. March 16.
The position was most recently held by Bruce Beitel, who took a different job with the township administering a $4.3 million federal grant that will be used to recruit and train new firefighters.
