Kimberly Anne Payne, 47, of Ft. Oglethorpe, died suddenly Friday, March 10, 2017.

She was an employee of the Catoosa County School System for 15 years, having served as a Paraprofessional, Classroom Teacher, and Special Education teacher at Battlefield Primary School. She was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by her parents: Curtis “Chris” and Gloria Payne, of Ft. Oglethorpe, and her grandmother: Delia Eldridge, El Paso, Texas; two daughters: Maia and Lola Payne, FT. Oglethorpe, and sisters: Deana (Jay) Pickett, Marion Co., TN, and Jennifer (J.P. Puryear) Payne, Tyler, TX, and a niece: Jade Remmel, Atlanta, and nephew: Jordan Pickett, Ft. Oglethorpe.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday, March 17th, at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, SOUTH.
