Leona Osborn July 25, 1935 - May 11, 2017 On Thursday, May 11, 2017 Leona Osborn went home to be with our Lord. Leona was surrounded by her family during her final hours. Born in Ellensburg Washington on July 25, 1935 to Jake and Francis Bunger, Leona grew up in Ellensburg with two bothers and three sisters. She graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1953. During that time she met the love of her life, Bill Osborn. When Bill returned from serving in the Korean War they were married on June 26, 1954. Bill and Leona moved to the Tri-Cities in 1958 where they lived the remainder of their lives together. Leona worked in accounting for J.C. Penny’s and accounts payables for the Pasco Red Lion until her retirement in May 1993. Bill and Leona loved to travel, camp, deep sea fish, ride motorcycles and horses and in their earlier year’s water ski. They and their two children were always out doing activities together. They love each other dearly. Leona is survived by her husband of 63 years Bill Osborn, son Tim Osborn and daughter Sharon Braswell (Chet); five grandchildren, Chelsea Gallagher (Chris), Billye Braswell, Mallorie Osborn, Marc Braswell (Shalon), and Rebecca Janosky (Jared); brothers Warren Bunger (Sharon) and Alvin Bunger (Ellen) and sisters Doreen Capponi (Jim) and Geri Miller (Allan) and eight great grandchildren. Leona was preceded in death by her parents (Jake Bunger and Francis Knutson), her father and mother in-law (Virgil and Mildred Osborn), her sister and brother in-law (Lillian and Emil Pasco), her sister in-law (Ann Osborn), two nephews and one niece. A Memorial of Life celebration will be held on Thursday May 25, 2017 at the Riverview United Methodist Church, 4012 W. Court Street, Pasco, Washington. The celebration will begin at 11:00 a.m.
