Mizzou tight end Jason Reese out against Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. • Missouri tight end Jason Reese will not play in the Tigers’ regular-season finale on Friday afternoon at Arkansas.

The senior traveled with the team, but appeared on the field in street clothes during pregame warm-ups. Reese is suffering from a strained lower back, according to a team spokesman. The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder has five catches for 135 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

In other injury news, running back Damarea Crockett will not play today. This will be the fifth consecutive game he’s missed due to a right shoulder injury.
