Dinkel Implement, Walmsley honored as Agribusiness, Farm Family of the Year

MADISON - Norfolk’s Dinkel Implement Co. and the Walmsley Family of Norfolk were honored as the Agribusiness and Farm Family of the year respectively Tuesday during the fourth annual Ag Banquet sponsored by the Norfolk Area and Madison Chambers of Commerce.

The chambers and the event’s sponsors also awarded $750 scholarships to recently-graduated high school seniors.

They are Katelyn Hall and Zachary Sellin (SUH-leen), both of Norfolk; Elizabeth Kment of Plainview; Kyle Noble of Albion; Mason Nordhues of McLean; and Dustin Ternus of Madison.

The Norfolk Beef Expo also awarded a $500 scholarship to Riley Eisenhauer of Farnam.

All seven scholarship recipients plan to study for ag-related careers in college.
