Sarah Silverman brings her stand-up to Foxwoods
Sarah Silverman had lots to say about President Donald Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns at a recent rally in New York City. So, you can bet the outspoken comic will share plenty more on that topic when she brings her stand-up show to Foxwoods Resort Casino.
The two-time Emmy winner will be at the Grand Theater on Saturday, April 29. Aside from her colorful comedy work, Silverman has distinguished herself as an actress and writer, as well as an executive producer.
She’s set to appear in two movies this year: “The Book of Henry,” a drama/thriller expected to open in June, as well as “Battle of the Sexes,” which tells the story of the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and ex-champ and hustler Bobby Riggs.
Aside from all that, Silverman continues to lend her voice to Fox’s animated series, “Bob’s Burgers,” and has a recurring role on the Showtime series “Masters of Sex.” She’s also part of JASH, a comedy collective featuring original content on YouTube.
Silverman grew up in New Hampshire and attended one year of classes at New York University. In 1993 she joined “Saturday Night Live” as a writer and feature performer. She’s been working ever since.
