5 facing meth charges after arrests at Painter Road home
Floyd County police arrested five people at a Painter Road address on methamphetamine charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
The residents, Maria Dianna Green, 45, and Joshua Allen Sharpe, 38, of 164 Painter Road, were each charged with possession of meth and possession of drug-related objects.
They are accused of having a baggie with suspected meth and a used glass pipe. They were released Monday on $5,700 bonds.
Three others also arrested at the home shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday are accused of having a large number of baggies, digital scales and two Xanax pills in addition to meth and pipes.
Dean Martin Hartley Jr., 33, of 405 Strawberry Lane, Lindale, was released on a $16,700 bond Monday. He is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.
Facing the same charges are Cathi Potvin, 42, of 4002 Cloverdale Drive, Huntsville, Alabama; and Daramis Deunte Stevenson, 27, of 2167 Kingston Highway. Stevenson also is being held for Polk County on unspecified charges.
No bond was set for Potvin or Stevenson.
