Police roundup: 11 new incidents reported in the area

HUNTINGTON - The following information is provided by reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Huntington Police Department listed 11 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Monday, according to a printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Possession of a controlled substance, 1:51 a.m. Monday, 500 block of 6th Street.

Misdemeanor destruction of property, 5 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of 14th Street.

Battery, malicious or unlawful assault, 8:57 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of 5th Avenue Guyandotte.

Paraphernalia, suspended or revoked license, 8:13 p.m. Sunday, 12th Street and 4th Avenue.

Trespassing, 2:45 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of 11th Avenue.

Intoxication or drinking in public places, illegal possession of alcoholic liquor, disorderly conduct, 12:05 p.m. Sunday, 3100 block of U.S. 60.

DUI greater than .150, 2:28 a.m. Sunday, 16th Street/I-64 entrance ramp.

Intoxicating substance, prohibited acts, 2:33 a.m. Sunday, 2200 block of 5th Avenue.

DUI greater than .150, leaving the scene-property damage, 12:54 a.m. Sunday, 800 block of 11th Avenue.

Threatening communications by electronic device, 11:37 p.m. Sunday, 2900 block of 5th Avenue

Misdemeanor destruction of property, burglary, entry of a dwelling or outhouse, 7 p.m. Saturday, 700 block of 5th Street

The following information is provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail:

Joshua Ronald Lemos, 25, was incarcerated at 12:45 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with malicious wounding. Bond was denied.

Chad Owen Spurlock, 40, was incarcerated at 3:50 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with possession of a controlled substance, an unspecified warrant, receiving and transferring stolen property, and a city capias. Bond was denied.

Justin Lee Chmielewski, 31, was incarcerated at 4:10 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.
