HS SOFTBALL: West Scranton Hands Lady Comets First Loss

McCae Dougher homered and Nevaeh Ross had two hits, two runs and an RBI as West Scranton handed Abington Heights its first loss, 8-6, in

a Lackawanna League Division I softball game Monday.

Tatum Repshis had two hits and two runs for the Lady Invaders.

Bailey White had two hits, a run and three RBIs for Abington Heights.

At Derenick Park, the long ball was the order of the day as Oliva Krupski pounded a pair of two-run homers, winning pitcher Jenna Bradley followed those with two solo shots, and Carly Wywoda, who also doubled, added a first-inning solo homer to lead Holy Cross.

Emma Conte accounted for both Riverside runs with her two-run homer off Bradley, who whiffed 16.
