RECKLESS DRIVING/FALSE INFORMATION, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a possible accident at Rotary Park. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said officers saw a vehicle that was inoperable, after driving over a curb near Don Sullivan Park. The driver, 18-year-old Andres Gandar, reportedly told police that he swerved to avoid getting hit by an oncoming vehicle. He also told police that he had a driver license, Fromelt said. After further investigation and talking to witnesses, she said, police determined that no other vehicles were involved and that Gandar’s story was incorrect. He also was never issued a license. He was cited for providing false information to police, reckless driving and having no valid driver license and released.
