Arizona refugees included in Trump plan for hunting, fishing

New or expanding opportunities for hunting and fishing in national wildlife refuges in Arizona as announced Wednesday by the Trump administration:

— Bill Williams River: Expand method of take for existing migratory game bird hunting and upland game hunting to further align with state regulations.

— Buenos Aires: Expand method of take and season date ranges for existing upland game hunting and existing big game hunting on 104,986 acres (42,487 hectares) to further align with state regulations.

— Cibola: Expand method of take and hunting hours for existing migratory game bird hunting and expand method of take for existing upland game hunting to further align with state regulations. Expand existing big game hunting to 12,243 acres (4,955 hectares) already open to other activities.

— Havasu: Expand hours and season date ranges for existing migratory game bird hunting to further align with state regulations on 25,197 acres (10,197 hectares).

— Imperial: Expand method of take for existing migratory game bird hunting and expand method of take and season date ranges for existing upland game hunting to further align with state regulations on 23,897 acres (9,670 hectares).

— Kofa: Expand method of take and season date ranges for existing upland game hunting on 663,402 acres (268,475 hectares) to further align with state regulations.

— San Bernardino: Expand method of take for existing migratory game bird hunting on 1,303 acres (527 hectares) to further align with state regulations.
