Four presidents among the 1,500 expected in Houston to honor Barbara Bush
The funeral for former first lady Barbara Bush will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday as 1,500 friends and family pay their respects at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.
Bush’s son, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, will deliver a eulogy, as will Bush’s longtime friend Susan Baker and historian John Meacham, former President George H.W. Bush’s office said in a statement.

Other former presidents and first ladies expected to attend are George W. and Laura Bush; Barack and Michelle Obama; and Bill and Hillary Clinton. First Lady Melania Trump is also expected to attend.
After the service, the Bush family will travel through Memorial Park by motorcade en route to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Center and Museum in College Station.
The motorcade will arrive in College Station around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 6, then onto Highway 6 Business to George Bush Drive. The motorcade will turn left on George Bush Drive, then right on Barbara Bush Drive, which leads to the library. Public access to the motorcade will end at Penberthy and George Bush Drive.
The burial at 3 p.m. Saturday is for invited guests only.
