4 days left to vote in Cleveland’s Best Sinful Dessert contest (vote hourly)

CLEVELAND, Ohio – What dessert is the best ending to your meal? We asked and you’ve answered. While chocolate was a top ingredient. You also let us know you enjoy cookies, bread pudding, pies and everything in between.

Thanks to reader nominations, we’ve given you 61 amazing desserts to choose from in Cleveland’s Best Sinful Dessert contest. Now, it’s up to you the readers to scroll through the list below and vote for which one you want to see make the Top 20.

You are invited to vote hourly in the poll below through Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.

Once the Top 20 is determined, our adventure really begins. Cleveland’s Best team of Brenda Cain and Yadi Rodriguez, along with celebrity host and comedian Mike Polk Jr., will visit each establishment for samplings and lots of photos and videos.

Important details on the poll:

Votes must come from the United States. The poll is sorted in alphabetical order by name of dessert. You need to scroll all the way down and click the “Submit” button in order for your vote to be counted. 

Contest details:

The schedule of our 20 visits will publish no later than Monday, Oct. 22. We’d love for you to join us in person and try the treats for yourself, or by watching Facebook Live videos on cleveland.com’s Facebook page.

During the visits we’ll also sample a few other concoctions the contestant whips up to feature more sugary delights for your viewing and reading pleasures.

New this contest: Cleveland’s Best reporters will determine the winner from their taste tests, as well as the Top 10 and the Best of the Rest. We will announce the results in a surprise visit to the winning business on Facebook Live on Nov. 13.

We also will publish plenty of photos, videos and details of the delicious sweet bites we are served, as well as several superlative shoutouts for especially yummy components of all the desserts we are served - like Best Whipped Cream, Best Homemade Caramel, Best Chocolate Dessert.
