Parking capacity full at 2 state parks
Many have flocked to Connecticut state parks for the first afternoon of Memorial Day weekend.
And all those residents and their vehicles have forced two state parks to turn away any more vehicles that try to enter the parking areas for each.
As of 1:30 p.m., Kent Falls State Park reached its full parking capacity and was closed to new vehicles. The same goes for Millers Pond State Park in Durham, as of 3 p.m.
