Tree seedlings available for purchase from Papio-Missouri River NRD
Seedlings are available for farmers and acreage owners planning to establish windbreaks and shelterbelts in the spring.
A variety of bare-root seedling trees are available for purchase from the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District.
The seedlings can be purchased in lots of 25, for $22 per lot. Cost-share funds are available for plantings that meet NRD conservation guidelines.
The Papio NRD will hold the trees in a cold storage facility until the spring and will notify customers when their trees are ready to be picked up.
The Papio NRD also offers a mechanical tree-planting service for 75 cents per tree or a minimum of $100.
Orders can be made via the Papio NRD’s website until March 20. For more information or to set up a site visit, contact John Zaugg at 402-670-4336 or at email@example.com
