Rural Hillsboro woman injured in tractor rollover

June 5, 2018 GMT

A rural Hillsboro woman was injured Monday when the small tractor she was driving rolled over on her property.

Cindy Klemp, 51, was taken to Gundersen Health St. Joseph with unspecified injuries, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office said.

Klemp was driving the tractor with a brush mower attachment behind, when she hit a washout on the property and the tractor started to roll over. She was able to jump from the tractor as it overturned.

Hillsboro Fire and EMS arrived on scene and turned off the tractor and mower, and put the tractor upright.

The incident remains under investigation.
