Woman charged with child neglect for leaving children in running car
DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Darlington Police arrested a a woman Thursday after children were left inside a running car.
Samandria Harkless was charged with unlawful neglect after she was arrested at the Darlington Walmart, according to a release issued by the Darlington Police Department.
She is charged with leaving her six-year-old and her two-month-old children in a running vehicle while she was in the store for 15 minutes before officers were called.
Harkless is currently free on $2,500 bond, according to the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center’s Website.
