Taxicab stolen at gunpoint
BULLHEAD CITY — A temporary felony warrant has been issued for Miles William Hudson, 26, who is wanted on numerous felony charges after allegedly committing armed robbery.
About 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to El Monte Drive where a taxicab driver reported he had just been robbed at gunpoint, said Emily Fromelt, Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman. The driver told police that he had picked up a man from a bar in the 800 block of Hancock Road. When they reached the 1900 block of El Monte Drive, the suspect put a gun to the back of the taxi driver’s head and told him to empty his pockets and get out of the taxi van. The suspect then drove off with the victim’s money and his vehicle.
Through further investigation, the suspect was identified as Hudson, Fromelt said. The stolen taxi van was found unoccupied on Diamond Drive.
Anyone with information on Hudson’s whereabouts should contact the Bullhead City Police Department at 928-763-1999.
