No students hurt in bus vs. SUV crash
No kids were injured this morning when a Teton County School District bus collided with an SUV that crashed into another vehicle, officials said.
Two of the occupants of the passenger cars went to St. John’s Medical Center to get checked out; both were treated and released.
“No children were hurt,” school district spokeswoman Charlotte Reynolds said.
The district’s Bus 33 and an SUV were stopped in the southbound lane at about 7:55 a.m., with glass broken out of the rear window of the car. During that time in the route, the bus normally was headed to drop students at Colter Elementary School before heading to Jackson Elementary School to drop other students, Reynolds said.
At about 8:20 a.m., about 13 students were led out of the bus and onto another bus staged behind it to take them to school. They were a few minutes late, but attended school as usual.
