September 13, 2018 GMT

A Wapwallopen man, who was once the victim of a shooting, sold crystal meth from his home this year, Wright Twp. police say.

Dillon Gommer, 24, faces criminal use of a communication facility, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance for the Jan. 5 incident. The charges were filed against him Friday and he was taken to jail after failing to immediately post $50,000 bail set that day by Magisterial District Judge Joseph Halesey, Wilkes-Barre.

Arrest papers state Luzerne County Task Force officers were watching when Gommer sold one gram of crystal meth from his home at 1175 Blue Ridge Trail.

According to previous reports, Gommer was shot and severely injured by Daniel Stephen Steadele in Slocum Twp. in 2015. Steadele wrote Gommer, his romantic rival’s name on a bullet before shooting him on Christmas Eve that year, court papers state.
