Sun is out for holiday weekend
After multiple wet weekends, Saturday will be dry and sunny, ideal for any last-minute holiday shopping and traveling.
The high will be 53 degrees, and clear skies are expected, WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell said.
The system that brought rain and isolated storms to North Carolina on Friday had moved to the Northeast and was headed offshore Saturday morning.
Sunday will see a few clouds, and there’s a chance for isolated showers if there’s enough moisture in the air. The high will be 57 degrees.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be dry and clear, with temperatures again in the low 50s but the sun shining throughout the day.
