According to a British study, taking five minutes twice daily to visualize yourself tackling big problems - calmly, fearlessly and successfully - can cut your stress, tension and anxiety by as much as 65%.

The strategy trains your brain to stay calm under pressure and also lowers your production of the stress hormone cortisol by 33%.
