Authorities say 2 pilots killed in Oklahoma plane crash
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities say the two people killed in the crash of a twin-engine jet near Oklahoma City were both pilots.
The Oklahoma medical examiner’s office on Tuesday said 60-year-old Doug Durning and 43-year Britton Lee died as a result of the crash Monday at Sundance Airport.
Office spokeswoman Amy Elliott says the causes of death are pending.
A suspected cause of the crash and which person was piloting has not been released.
The aircraft was returning from Panama City, Florida, when it crashed at the airport on the northwest edge of Oklahoma City.
