Art earns awards for Aquinas students
Three Aquinas art students received awards from the Nebraska Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.
There are three types of awards: Gold Key Award (considered for national-level recognition), Silver Key Award, and an Honorable Mention Award.
Junior Allie Frasher received a Gold Key Award for her drawing titled, “Miriam.” Junior Faith Kozisek received an Honorable Mention for her stained glass mosaic titled, “Floral Mosaic.”
Clare Fiala, Aquinas senior, received an Honorable Mention for her ceramic sculpture titled, “The Flood.”
The works of Nebraska Scholastic Art and Writing Competition Award Winners are displayed at the OPS Building in Omaha until the end of March.
