Police: Girl hit by car in Montpelier
MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Police say a girl has been hit by a car while walking on Main Street in Montpelier, Vermont.
The crash happened early Wednesday evening. The girl was taken by ambulance to Central Vermont Hospital. Police have not released information on her condition.
The driver has been identified as a 27-year-old Montpelier man.
Police say they don’t consider alcohol or speed to be factors in the crash, which happened near the intersection with School Street.
