It’s ‘Tuna’ time in Mantorville
MANTORVILLE — A touch of Texas comes to Mantorville when the Mantorville Theatre Company presents the comedy “Greater Tuna” weekends Feb. 8 through Feb. 24.
The play, directed by Bob Soland, brings to the stage a colorful, to say the least, cast of characters from the tiny town of Tuna, Texas: Arles Struve, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl, Vera Carp, Didi Snavely, Petey Fisk, the Rev. Spikes and others.
The opening night extravaganza is at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8, with a special ticket price of $10. For all other performances, tickets are $18 standard and $15 reduced.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays at the Mantorville Opera House, 5 Fifth Street West, Mantorville. For tickets, go to mantorvillain.com.
