YAMHILL — Sutherlin finished the season with a 34-16 nonleague win over Yamhill-Carlton on Friday.

“Its cool to end the year with our third win with not many seniors, but the ones we had played well and did a great job for us,” Sutherlin coach Sean Radford said. “The key to the game was in the second half. We established the run on that first drive and that helped us set the tone for the game.”

Sutherlin (4-6, 2-4 Sky-em League) quarterback Cade Meisner was 13-for-23 passing, he passed for 167 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Zach Yarbrough intercepted a Yamhill-Carlton (0-10, 0-6 Oregon West Conference) pass and ran it back 61 yards for a TD. He also caught two passes for 62 yards and a score.
