Scottsbluff ag truck maker looking to expand business
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) — A western Nebraska agriculture truck and belt trailer maker is seeking to expand, adding up to 30 jobs over the next five years.
Radio station KNEB reports that Aulick Industries, of Scottsbluff, submitted a proposal Wednesday to the Scottsbluff Community Redevelopment Authority to expand the business.
Company spokesman Austin Aulick says the project would be a significant upgrade from its existing truck shop facility. The company is looking to invest about $5 million in the upgrade. Aulick says the project is also expected to increase current employment from approximately 20 to about 50 over five years.
Following preliminary review by the redevelopment authority, the proposal will go to the city Planning Commission for consideration during its April 8 meeting.
